Deployment of CR.NET 2005

| Hi,
when deploying CR.NET bundled with Visual Studio 2005, it is necessary
to enter product code otherwise the deployed applicaton won't work?
With VS.NET it was necessary to register CR.NET and then in deployment
project enter product code in properties of the registration merge
module. Is this the same with VS 2005 or has this been dropped from the
CR.NET 2005?
If it is still necessary, can I use registration from VS.NET 2003 to
deploy VS 2005 Crystal reports, as it was with VS.NET 2002 and VS.NET
2003
