Author Can I print the formulas

I am using CR10. Is there any way to print the underlying formulas that I am
using in my reports?

There are times when I am studying the output from the report that I want to
refer to the formulas,
and having a printed copy would make it easier for me to debug the report.

Thanks

Martin

Hi Martin,
You can export your report in "Report Definition" format. This will
produce a text file that shows all of the objects on your report - text
fields, formulas, running totals, etc. and all of the suppression formulas,
record selection formulas, etc.

Very . Never knew it would do that. I ran it and it does work, except
all of my formulas are not showing. I have a number that recode items, i.e.

IF (Field1)=1 and (Field2)=1
then 1
else 0

then do a SUM function on that formual field. It shows the SUM function, but
not the original recode formula.

That's unusual. I've never come across a situation when some objects from
my report were missing. When the file is created, the items are grouped.
Make sure you are looking in the right area. In your text editor, use the
find/search feature to look for one that you think might have been omitted.
