NIIT and looking forward for real job.
I am doing the following stuff
1) Preparing myself for certifications.
2) preparing interview questions from www.techinterviews.com ,
http://www.geocities.com/dotnetinterviews/ and freshers guide for .NET
Jobs.
3) I have also taken a computer and doing some small snippets.
Any more things which can give be boost for live interviews is useful.

<response type="generic" language="VB.Net">
This newsgroup is for users of Visual Basic version 6.0
and earlier and not the misleadingly named VB.Net
or VB 200x. Solutions, and often even the questions,
for one platform will be meaningless in the other.
When VB.Net was released Microsoft created new newsgroups
devoted to the new platform so that neither group of
developers need wade through the clutter of unrelated
topics. Look for newsgroups with the words "dotnet" or
"vsnet" in their name. For the msnews.microsoft.com news
server try these:
microsoft.public.dotnet.general
microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb
</response>

YOU FAILED YOUR INTERVIEW!
I would worry about someone who has to ask what to expect in an interview!
When I interview people, I look for reasonable knowledge on a general range
of questions, answered with reasonable confidence.
I would not fail someone for not knowing everything about their subject, but
I would expect an honest admission if they are not certain about a point or
answer.
Based on your question, I would say you have NO practical experience in
programming and it would show within minutes of starting the interview.
You would also fail as you can't even research you question correctly as you
have not even asked you question in the right news groups.
This group deals with VB and NOT VB.NET which is a different language.
If you don't know that VB and VB.NET are different then I really would
worry.
