Hi all,

Could anybody point me to any resources on how to render audio (amr,wav,mp3)
programatically on a PocketPC and Smartphone 2003 platforms?

Cheers,

cronopi.

For low level access take a look at Waveform Audio API. The simplest
function is PlaySound that just plays from a WAV source. For mp3, you may
need to use a third-party library.

Thanks Yaroslav. What about amr? Is it also the case for Windows Mobile 5.0?

Xilisoft makes a wide range of software todo about anything you want to do
with Audio and Video. I have used the DVD Ripper Platinum with great success
and is easy to use.

If you want to work with AMR from your program you will need to look for a
third party solution.

Yes it works on amr_nb files as well, but I only can do mono. I am working
with Xilisoft to find out why.
