sms problem..

Hi,

be kind.. for this repost.. ; I am having a problem with using the MAPI
while sending SMS, particularly sending Chinese text content. From my
application, when I send the message, the SMS sent box has a very valid
content.. i,e, the Chinese text gets displayed well, but on the receiving
phone (which, by the way, has chinese fonts) the text seen is ???s.

While sending the message, I have tried sending the message both as unicode
and multibyte text; nothing successed. Any pointers will be of great help. I
even tried playing with the phone's SMS acount properties.. but nothing was
too obvious. I have seen such a problem being faced by one developer on this
newsgroup; but no solution was discussed.
