problem receiving chinese sms..

Hi,

I am having an issue with receiving sms properly, particularly when the sms
contains chinese characters. On the phone, on which my application is
running, i can see the chinese text in the sent box, but on the receiving
phone I only get ????s. The receiving phone is a chinese phone, by that I
mean, it has chinese and taiwanese fonts.. and all.
I am using MAPI sample Mail/SMS program that came with the SDK to send the
SMS. I tried sending unicode as well as wide character text; at beast the
glyphs I see vary on the receiving phone, but i cannot see the actual chinese
content on the phone.

any pointers will of great help.
