how knows the device's connecting status with activesync. in device side

for ev4 with ppc2003, device with the pc network automatically if connecting
with the activesync.
and i don't want to extra operation for the pc network.

so how to know the status of connectivity with activesync? any api can know
this?
and what i meant is for device side not for desktop. it seems that many
ActiveSync APIs is prepared for
desktop applications.

your help will be greatly appreciated!
