I am targetting smartphone 2003. I m using eVC 4.0. And the help here really isnt very great. I m not able to find the api calls for the following purposes :
1. To get the operator name. The one who provides the sim card. eg.Hutch,Vodafone
2. To get the country, state and city the phone is being used.
3. To get the location of the phone. Nothin related to GPS but the station the device is getting the service from. My phone shows the name of the tower I m getting signal from. I m sure there is a way.
4. The roaming status.
5. The GPRS status
6. The signal strength.
7. Various other phone properties like the phone model (as in nokia 7710), its manufacturer, the software it is running(as in Symbian 7.0), its hardware information(as in Processor,Memory and stuff), whether it is pen enables or not.

Any sort of help would be appreciated...

Thanx in advance

For some points there is no easy way to the required information. Some
information is available under HKLM\System\State\Phone. Some values can be
accessed via TAPI/exTAPI. For #7 you can use GetSystemInfo.
