Orange SPV C500 profile handsfree hangs
|
|
|
| This happened while I was using Tom Tom, and was answering een incoming
phone call.
I put it on handsfree, and after the call, it was hanging on handsfree for
ever :-(
Who has the solution, and don't tell me to do a hard reset, because I have
to many applications to put back.
It's just to much work to do.
The solution off a small toothpick into the jackconnector doesn't work also.

| Hi Marco,
The fact of the matter is you are using a system intensive app like
TomTom and getting problems when phone tries to do another intensive
task. I found the C500 really unresponsive when TomTom was running at
the best of times, sorry not to be the bearer of good news but you are
probably seeing the hardware limitations of the phone in action. Why do
you see about getting the latest patch for TomTom Mobile, I think its
upto 5.2, they may have ironed out some bugs

| I agree - get the TomTom 5.2 update installed - I can run TomTom and make
calls with this setup as long as no other app is running - although you can
appear to close contacts, calendar etc they are nearly always still running
in the background.

| Thanks for the info guys, only the problem with TomTom is, its not the legal
version.
Luckilly it's not a big problem, the fone works, there's only handsfree in
the screen, and the ring is now very loud.
