SPAddCert and SMT5600

| Hi,
When I try to install a Root Certificate (a .cer file exported from a
Certificate Authority created using Certificate Server) using the SPAddCert
utility I get the following error message:
Error adding certificate.
The phone may be locked.
Does anyone know if what I am trying to do is possible with the AudioVox
SMT5600 and a AT&T service.
If it is possible then how can I do it?
Thanks...Ron Lemire

| Hi Ron,
I have got this working on a iMate SP3i.
You can either install the developer certifcates on the device using :
RapiConfig /p /m sdktestcerts.xml
or you can use RapiConfig to change the PriviledgedApps policy down to 1
tier security (be careful with this as then any untrusted apps you have
installed will be able to run in Priviledged mode...).
Regards,
Shawn
