Re: Utstarcom/audiovox 6700 with Windows Mobile 5.0 and Active Sync 4.1
I just bougth this new device and it will not sync with either my home or
work Outlook 2003. I have tried everything the Micorsoft and UTStarcom
recommend and nothing. Get this the last solution MS gave was to un-install
Outlook 2003 and install 2002! So seeing I was desperate I did that and it
still did not work.
Does anyone have a real solution to the very big problem?
thanks in advance.

Dean,

I'd suggest asking on the activesync newsgroup since there are Activesync
engineers who monitor it. I know of other people who are using the 6700
successfully with Activesync so it must be something else like firewall, USB
hub, antivirus software or something like that. I don't see how Outlook 2002
would be a solution though.
