| I believe it is possible to use Visual Studio and the nokia Series 60 SDK to
create apps. I use Borland CBuilder myself, and nokia are about to release
their new IDE "Carbide", which is based on Eclipse.

Do you have some links about that ?

| You can create a WEB application for wide variety of devices with VS 2005.
It's going to run on Windows based server, not the phone.
If you need an application which runs on a phone itself, VS 2005 only
supports Windows Mobile based phones.
You should contact nokia for development tools for nokia phone. Some 3rd
party tools (e.g. from AppForge) also might be available.
Best regards,
Ilya

| Check out http://www.forum.nokia.com - there's a lot of links, support
groups etc linked from this. Also take a look at
http://www.newlc.com/article.php3?id_article=844
I mentioned I haven't done this myself, otherwise I might have more links.
HTH,
Mike.

| thnx Ilya and Mike
I have installed nS60_jme_sdk_v1_2_1 that should be for Nokia3660
Also I have ActivePerl and mobilevb3.
But I don't see anything new when I open new Visual Basic project in
VS.NET 2005
What am I missing?

| Probably better off asking either in one of the nokia / Symbian newsgroups,
or on one of the forums at Forum Nokia.
