| Hi,
Following up on my previous thread a couple of w s ago about the same
subject on a smartphone, I'd like to have your advice about the same thing
on a pocketPC phone edition.
As a reminder, what I'd like to do is to replace the audio stream (in & out)
of the phone line coming from/to microphone/speaker by a custom one I would
send/receive from an application.
My point of concern is that I'm not sure if the DSP that handle the phone
line directly access to the audio codec that handle speaker/mic (and in this
case, I'm stuck !), or if it is handled through CE, using the audio driver.
From what I've heard about smartphone, it seems to be the first option.
Now, I'm interested in having the same answer about pocketPC phone edition.
I've done the following test on a pocketPC phone edition, which let me think
that the 2nd option might apply (which would be a great news !):
- I dynamically unmount the wavedev device
- I try to make a phone call
- The result is that I don't have any audio in & out on the mic/speaker.
Does anyone has an experience about this ? I'd like to confirm my analysis
before going further (i.e implementing a dummy audio driver that would
redirect the audio stream)
