PT-Dev Graphics/Sound library beta now available
|
|
|
| Hi all,
Anyone interested in a fast Graphics and Sound library
for the development of applications on Windows Mobile
devices may be interested in trying the beta release of
our library PT-Dev, now available from:
http://www.parystec.co.uk/PT-Dev.htm
or
http://www.parystec.com/
Currently set up for development using Embedded VC++ 3 or 4,
development for VS 2005 and Symbian are being added.
Noteable features:
Full virtual collision testing including rotated/scaled objects.
Realignment/orientation change to maintain optimum performance
due to changes in xPitch/yPitch of the display/backbuffer
is achieved without memory overhead (ie. without recreating surfaces).
Mask surface collision testing allows the testing/use of 16-bit masks
instead of just 16-bit values, allowing the discovery/identification of
multiple collisions in a single function call.
Full 32-channel sound available in licensed version (8 in beta/demo).

| Oops, forgot to mention development for the PC under VC++ 6
is included already.
