Camera file locations?

Does anyone know where snapshots are stored and in what format for any
of the phones that include a camera?

Lacking a reasonable API, we can at least make use of previously taken
photos.

It's up to the OEM, on my phone \Storage\My Documents\

What phone do you have? Are they jpeg files?
I will look in all known locations, once I know them.

I have an imate smartphone 2, (which is a HTC err... voyager)
yes they are jpeg.

try looking in:
'\storage\my documents', '\storage\my documents\my pictures', and
'\storage\my documents\my photos'

for photos. that should cover a few phones.
