API for Cameras on smartphones specifically orange SPV

Hello to all, I am developing a program for smartphone that requires me use
and program its camera. Actually it is for my thesis. I would really
apreciate it if someone would help me or teach me about cameras programming
on smartphones. I am Franz Vendiola from the University of the Philippines.

There is no Microsoft API for the camera yet. Here is an API which
simply sends the commands through to the phones camera application:
