Hello,

Not 100% sure if this is the right newsgroup for this and if it is not
I apologize in advance, although I thought this might be an issue that
would interest readers of this newsgroup.

My problem is that I have some customers that want to pay my code
writing services through credit card so I am looking for some site like
most shareware sites - except that instead of selling a concrete
product I would sell something called "software consulting services"
priced at something like $50 a piece and the customer would buy as many
as needed. Does anyone knows of something along those lines ? Or if any
of the shareware selling sites like share-it would accept this selling
method?

Seems a reasonable way to accept CC payment. Try asking them.
Is Paypal available in Romania? Their fees are lower.

Hi Paul,

Paypal is not an option, I don't trust them with my money as I've read
mixed reports on the net and they don't have Romania on their list
anyway. If they did _maybe_ I would
have given a though on using them.

Guess that I will ask each of the shareware sellers if they accept my
method.

Andrei,

You could sell your customers "Andrei's Software Consulting Service" for $50
each time they want to pay you. The product does not even have to exist,
just set up the online store with a shareware selling site and give your
customers link to your order page.

Another question to consider is - will you be able to accept money FROM
whatever shareware selling site you choose? I use https://usd.swreg.org/ and
they transfer money automatically to my bank account, but I am in the US.
