Thanks Paul,

It took some head scratching as it was a long time since I screwed
with a form mail routine.
The only really stupid problem I had was the permissions. I kind of
didn't set them, and it didn't work.

Summary;
changed name of formmail.cgi to oldformmail.cgi
uploaded formail.cgi (new version)
didn't work!
checked permissions, oldformmail was right, formmail (new version) was
wrong.
deleted formmail.cgi
renamed oldformmail.cgi to formmail.cgi
uploaded formmail.cgi (new version) and over wrote formmail.cgi (old
version)
checked permissions, all ok!

After that it was just tweaking and re-writing the code the other
turkey wrote to use the new tricks like what fields MUST be filled in.

The test version works as of 2:20 AM here, so tomorrow I have to add a
java-script hidden email, change the destination email and go live.

Thanks again for your recommendation!

Cordially,
Gerry
