Author Custom error messages in HTML from CGI help.

Hello to all.

I have a Perl script that is supposed to parse HTML, locate
occurrences of dynamic data $error, $message and $hiddenData, replace
with a string genrated by the script, then redirect to the new page.

The problem is, the string is never replaced, just displays the page
with the $error and $message and $hiddenData dynamic data untouched.

Please send e-mail if you want to see the HTML and Perl script.

TIA.
