Hi!
Some months ago a german university started a project named EduShooter
(http://edushooter.de). This is just a variation of the popular 3rd-
person-shooter Nexuiz which is GPL-licensed. EDU2 is in planning. I
read following text on the homepage: "F=FCr die Spieler wird EDU2
ebenfalls in der Grundversion kostenfrei bleiben!" (inaccurate
translation: "The basic version will stay free."). Isn't this a GPL
violation? GPL forces you to offer the sourcecode (and binary
distributions, too) under GPL. I don't think the not-basic version
will use another engine.

Kind regards, Hans
