Hi there

Could anybody say if it is possible to open MS Works spread sheets with
Open Office

It /is/ indeed possible to do so. Drawing objects are preserved just
fine.

However, you should just download it from http://OpenOffice.org and
give it a try yourself. If you don't have Excel, google for an Excel
file and try it out!

I do it.
Maybe u can't use the script system of MS office but u can read write
the file of excel .

It sometimes good to not use script include , because the macro virus ...
