Hi,
I have got one question about OpenSource License
When I use a OpenSource application to create other application (eg. DVD
Video) have I to throw open DVD project source too?

No, but you have to claim that some of your code is based on Open Source
code.

To clarify, when you use open source software to create your own
software you do not need to publish it as open source. For example when
you use open source Eclipse IDE to write your software.

But, when you use open source as a base for your own software, you must
respect according license. For example when you take some open source
project and make modifications to suit yourself.

You would have to claim that some of your code is based on Open Source
code if you are using the libraries. It depends on the Tool you are
using to create your project.
