Hi, PeaZip 1.0 was released exactly one year ago with the goal to
create a general purpouse graphical frontend for command line
executables, 7Z, PAQ and others, with same look and feel on Windows
and Linux.
The ease of porting the project was due to the use of Lazarus, a cross
platform IDE for FreePascal language.

Another purpose of the project was to bridging the gap between
traditional GUI and console programs, quickly allowing users to save
jobs as command lines (for being used in scripts, for further
customization, for study...) in order to get the best from the two
worlds.

Now, the project has reached 1.9.3 release and I really want to thank
all people contributed with testing, suggestions and hints
Giorgio
