Author what is WMVR codec

hi,
I came across a codec name: WMVR(Not sure if it is just another
fourcc). I gave a search in Google and was not able to find any
relevent information. Can someone tell me what this codec is? And what
is its major purpose: storage/streamimng??

Just a guess: Windows Media Variable rate.
