Multispectral Compression tools

| Hi, I'm looking for some multispectral compression tools; I already
searched in all newsgroups, but I found nothing. Is there someone that
knows where I can find them? I need free software or C++ or Java
classes or Matlab files. I don't need a specific thing; I'm a PhD
Student and I need them for my research.
Please, say me all the things you know about
I thank you for answers.

There were several relevant papers in the Proceedings of
the Data Compression Conference, March 29-31, 2005.
Join the IEEE Computer Society (about $100/yr)
and you can download the full text of these (and any
other IEEE-sponsored conference) from the IEEE Digital Library.
Or, anyone can see the abstracts at
http://www.computer.org/publications/dlib/

| Hi, thank you for answer, but I'm not looking for some research papers;
I need some working tools or programs already implemented. Also some
C++ classes or matlab files are good. It's good also if it's ancient.
Thank you
