Hi,
I was going through the specification of a video encoder and saw that
the run length coding / entropy coding part of the whole process is not
there in the specification but is left to the will of the developer.

All I have seen is Huffman coding and Adaptive Huffman coding.

Can someone please advice me where to look for more information
regarding coding methods, and the latest algorithms used in codecs like
H.264 or MPEG-4 or the like.

Please do help.

TIA.
