Author Self Extracting Winzip files

I am using Winzip8. I have used winzip for ever to create self
extracting exe files. I have never had a problem when I create the
exe it asks where I want the files to go and it has always done what I
wanted it to do. But now it has picked up this evil thing where it
create the full path of the source, which is exactly wrong. If I have
"use folder names turned off" and I extract it using regular winzip it
does it correctly, but if I use the exe version it does it wrong. Any
ideas? I have even click the set back to defaults and that didnt'
work. Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

Look to enable the use of relative or no paths somewhere under
options, or to disable the use of full paths. You may consider to bid
goodby to winslip (read winzip where appropriate) forever and upgrade
to WinRAR. WinRAR will also make you SFX-files and in addition extract
popular archive-formats that the makers of winslack deem unnecessary
for you to know and handle.

if nothing else works and you want your winodd8 back to usual, go to
control panel, uninstall winflos, start regedit.exe from your
windowsfolder, search for winnag-entries in the registry and remove
them (don't delete other things from the registry you don't know), get
winturd9 or reinstall your version8, there you go.
