Author Having problem testing MPEG2

Hi,
My name is Parth. I am using MPEG as an application to evaluate the
performance of my research project.

I have the source code from ftp site of MPEG MSSG.

- I tried runing both encoder and decoder programs by make all
command
and later verified by make test. This works fine for me as such it
doesn't display in mismatch notification.

- I tried runing make mpeg2encode/mpeg2decode and later ran
mpeg2enc.exe
by ./mpeg2enc.exe command in bin folder. This gives me an error.
Some of the messages are like this:

**./mpeg2enc.exe: \210Y: not found
**./mpeg2enc.exe: syntax error at line 42: `(' unexpected

If anyone can throw some light on this problem, it will be of a great
help
towards accomplishment of my project.

Looking for your quick reply,

Sincerely,
Parth Malani.
