Hi all,

Just opened a large VB6 project in VB2005. it went through the whole process
OK. Came up with 4992 issues from 142 files, which I am now attempting to go
through and fix.

But... Let's take a simple example.

In VB6 I used a blank UserControl on the splash Form in order to grab the
LocaleID from the AmbientProperties. I should be able to get the same info
from the CultureInfo, so I opened up the uctLocaleID code, and typed in the
needed change...

What the heck is going on?

I type a word, then have to wait 3 or 4 seconds before it lets me type some
more, and putting in the . doesn't bring up the members. At this rate it's
going to take me longer to fix the VB2005 version than it did to write the
VB6 version in the first place.

Can anyone help me out here?
