Author How to get DevStudio 6 to open up associated applications

We have some 'script' files and an internal editor that we use to edit
these scripts.

We want to add them into our DevStudio Project tree but when we
double-click DevStudio, it opens the file instead of the associated
application.

Is there any way to change this behaviour, reg hack or something, so
that when double-clicking our files, our editor is opened ... just like
when you double-click a PNG that has been added to a project.
