Hi,

VS.net 2005 can be used to create SmartPhone and PocketPC 2003 applications
by using C++(MFC), but there is no an option to create the WinCE.net
application that can be created by EVC4 before, is it possible to create
WinCE.net application by using VS.net 2005? Thanks.

What do you mean? You can create apps in C#, VB or native (C/C++). What
"other" type are you after?

Chris,

After you install EVC4 and without installing any smartdevice SDK, there is
an "WCE MFC AppWizard(EXE)" option, and after installing the PocketPC 2003
SDK, there is an extra "WCE Pocket PC 2003 MFC AppWizard(EXE)" option.

Now it seems that VS.net has only the "WCE Pocket PC 2003 MFC
AppWizard(EXE)" option but no "WCE MFC AppWizard(EXE)" option, and I want to
know is it possible to make VS.net 2005 has "WCE MFC AppWizard(EXE)" option?

Chris,

As I told before that the "MFC Smart Device Application" project in VS.net
2005 can create the SmartPhone or Pocket PC 2003 application, and my
question if it is possible to create WinCE.net application in VS.net? Did
you ever use EVC4 to develop application for smart device?

Now I understand what you're after. Studio 2005 can create binaries
compatible with CE 5.0 and PPC 2003. There is no support for generic CE 4.x
devices. For them you'll have to stay with eVC
