Disassembly tab won't go away

| I'm not sure if anyone from Microsoft monitors these groups or not, but I've
run across a bug in Visual Studio .NET that I can't find anything on. I did
run across a single posting in microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet
dated 2003-07-03 where someone else had this problem, but there were no
replies to their posting.
When I run an application in the IDE, I get a Disassembly tab that won't go
away. Even after the application I'm debugging ends, I still have a
Disassembly tab along with my code and forms and Start Page tabs. Trying to
close it achieves nothing.
Did I do something that triggered this to start (so I'll know not to do it
again), and is there anything I can do to make it stop? Thanks! :)

| I've also come across this problem, it really causes no problems to the program but is very annoying that this tab will not go away.
I would appreciate if anyone has any info on this and how to get rid of it and/or how it happens in the first place.

Figured out you can get rid of the dissassembly tab in options under debugging (show dissassembly if source not aval). But of coarse it doesn't answer why it started popping up in the first place since it was set like this before and the source code is available. | |
