I have a new pc that was built by a friend of mine. He put Firefox on. I
put VS 2005 on an try to "Play" my app and it started up using Firefox. I
set the checkmark in IE Tools-> Internet Options -> Programs: Check to see if
default browser. VS 2005 still used Firefox. I uninstalled Firefox. VS
2005 still tries to use Firefox: I get a message

Unable to start program c:\progra~1\mozill~1\firefox.exe.

How do get VS 2005 to use IE?

TIA,

Found this in .setup newsgroup.

If so, you can right-click a page in VS.net 2003 and select 'Browse With'.
In the dialog, you can add Firefox browser and set it as the default one.

I selected Internet Explorer instead and all is well once again.
