I want to setup VS 2005 and sql server 2005 on a dual boot system and it
will be using the d drive. does anyone know of any issues regarding this
type of setup?

Thanks.

If you mean by "using the d drive" to mean one of the o/s that you can boot
into uses the d drive as its default or %windir% and the other uses the c
drive (or some other drive other than d), then you shouldn't have any
problems.
But if you mean you use the d drive for both o/s installs, then you will
have problems.

I have been dual booting for many years and have had no problems. I also
recently installed VS 2005 and sql server 2005 in a dual boot system, twice.
On a desktop computer and a laptop computer, and everything works just fine.
