I have seen this as well, but only when I have DXCore by Developer
Express (http://www.devexpress.com) (which is included in CodeRush and
Refactor!) installed. If I remove it the problem disappears. Do you have
DXCore installed?

There's a bug in VS2003, if my Property Window or Toolbox Window, etc.
are
set to "Auto Hide" and I decide to "pin" them in place, the processor
jumps
to 100% and never comes down, forcing me to kill the IDE.

I've confirmed that this is known bug.

I just wanted to air my disappointment at Microsoft for not releasing a
single Service Pack in over 2 years to fix this obious bug, and others
that
make my environment go BOOM! Just check my Dump History that gets sent
to
you with each crash.

Don't tell me that it is just me. I know it ain't.
