Author Why CDC::FrameRect dropped in VS 2005?

Hello

When trying to port an embedded vc++ project to VS2005 beta2, I discovered
that FrameRect function is no longer supported in Pocket PC 2003 builds
(WIN_WCE defined). This is strange, since it used to exist in Embedded VC++
4 for PPC 2003 and even worked on PPC devices, meaning that it supported by
underlining OS. Can anyone explain why it was dropped?

See Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio
8\VC\ce\atlmfc\include\afxwin.h(773): void FrameRect(LPCRECT lpRect, CBrush*
pBrush);
Thank you
