Hi All,

I have installed VS.NET 2005 Beta2 (Professional Edition) on my laptop which
was having VS.NET 2003 installed and working fine. After installing VS.NET
2005 beta 2, i am not able to debug my office and Visio addins in VS.NET
2003. When I try to attach to Excel/Visio process using VS.NET 2005 it gives
error message "Unable to attache to the process".

I have already tried running aspnet_regiis -u for .NET 2.0 and installing
1.0 with aspnet_regiis -i. But this didn't solve my problem. Can anybody let
me know how to get rid of this issue?

Thanks,

Niranjan Marathe

Correction.. I am getting the error when debugging using VS.NET 2003 and not
VS.NET 2005. Sorry for the typo.

Thanks,

Niranjan Marathe

Remember that Visual Studio 2005 is still in beta, so this sort of thing is
to be expected.

That said, it would be a good idea to report this. See:
