Author Solution Explorer: Is sorting possible?

I've been fighting with this. Solution Explorer items appear in the
order you add them.

Is it possible, by any automatic or manual method, to change this sort?
I either want files to be in order of important set by myself or in
alphabetical order. It's getting annoying because I have to look
through my list of files before I can find the one I want.

AFAIK, the sorting is done alphabetically, and there is no way to change it.

Just found out what it was. It's a really flaky sorting method.

Does nothing while the solution is open. Close it and reopen and it
sorts it alphabetically, but capitals bypass this sorting method and
automatically go above everything else.

You think they'd at least document it somewhere or add a sort button so
you don't have to close and reopen the file.
