Visual Studio - Dotfuscator 1.2

Just downloaded the latest edition of Dotfuscator Community Edition
1.2. When I run it on my assembly, I get the following error message:

The data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1.
Build Error.

The project is a pure C#. Any ideas?
