Install from ISO image with virtual CD fails
|

| I am trying to install Visual Studio 2003 architect version from the MSDN ISO
image. I am getting a "file not found" error while processing the first ISO
image, but the file it is looking for is on the second ISO image. I think
there is either an bug in the install procedure that it causing it to fail
with the virtual CD by not correctly recognizing the need to switch to the
second CD, or (more likely) there is some kind of secret handshake that one
needs to know to correctly install any multi-CD ISO image from the virtual
CD. The some ISO image works fine if I burn it to CD and run it from a
physical disk. I have tried 2 different virtual CD drivers with the same
result. I am installing to a clean physical version of Win XP (not a virtual
machine).
Any idesa?

| Hello JohnSz,
Try to extract files from ISO to the folder and install from that folder.
