| Hi Kevin,
I wasn't specific enough in my last post... This problem started after
installation of IIS for local hosting. I am running XP with SP2. It seems
as though something is intercepting or cutting off all Internet traffic.
Please let me know if I need to provide additional info. Thanks for
responding! I'm really stumped!

Installing Visual Studio.Net doesn't do anything to your network
connections.
