I am new to creating installation packages using Visual
Studio 6.0 Installer Projects. I created an msi package
for a simple Visual Basic 6.0 project. As an
administrator to Windows XP workstations, the
installation runs fine. I am able to run the executable
with no problem. The problem comes when a regular user,
with fewer privileges on the computer, tries to run the
executable. The user is not able to run the executable.
I have to log back into the workstation and explicitly
give the user execute rights to the application's exe
file.

Is there some setting in which I can avoid this rights
issue?

Thank you,
