Hotfix for DevStudio incorrectly removing ASP.Net event handlers?
|

| Hi,
ENV: Windows 2003 Server, VS 2003, .Net 1.1
A number of our developers have raised an issue with DevStudio removing
event handlers from ASP.Net C# code-behind. It mostly happens when editing
in the HTML view of the page, sometimes in design mode; DevStudio will
incorrectly remove one or more event handlers from the InitializeComponent()
method.
This has been happening for a long time and we've put up with it by always
checking the code-behind for erroneously removed event handlers. But I
recently heard that a hotfix was available. If so, can you please point me
to it's location or let me know how to obtain it.
Failing that, what is the mileage in escalating this through an incident?
Many thanks,
Stuart
