Hi,

I've seen other posts that address this, with workarounds like "restart
the IDE" or "restart the computer", but I'm hoping someone has a more
durable solution.

Frequently - chronically, now - my Task List tab is disabled.
Restarting does seem to solve it, briefly, but that's not much of a
solution. I tend to use it in
show-up-when-needed-then-collapse-when_I_click_elsewhere mode, which
undoubtedly has a more compact name. I'm using Microsoft Development
Environment 2003 Version 7.1.3088, on Windows XP Professional Version
2002 Service Pack 2, if that's of any help.
