can Vstudio 2005 be used to develop VB.net using the .net 1.1 fram

I'm looking to switch form VS2003 to VS2005 I develope for DotnetNuke 3.11
and it uses .net 1.1 not 2.0. can I use VS2005 to dev like I am currently
doing in 2003. Are there any advantages to switch to 2005
