Author VS.Net Updates won't install

I have a problem where VS.Net updates won't install. I tried to install the
Oct '03 documentation update, but I get a message from the Windows Installer
saying the product upgrade path can't be found or the program isn't
installed!!

Anyone know whats up? (Obv VS.Net 2003 is installed and working ok!)
