MapPoint Polygon Converstion tool

Right now we have coverage area maps that are generated using Wizard and
MapInfo. I would like to get that polygon data out of mapinfo and import it
mapPoint, so that we have the ability to plot where a user lives, and see if
they are in covereage or not. In the mappoint SDK, i have read about the
polygon conversion tool, but that is all i have been able to find. The other
thing i have found is that MapPoint can import a MapInfo .mif file. But i
cannot find the schema of how to import that data. HAs anyone tried to do
this before?
