Author Windows Defender Update/Removal

Windows defender is unable to update, nor uninstall. When I go to Add/Remove
programs. The program is not listed. No entries at all. I will try to update,
says it's updated, yet says that it hasn't been updated in 88 days.

Please help me out!!!

You'll likely get better answers in the Windows Defender newsgroup. Yeah,
it's hidden but it's there. Here's the C&P info about it.
