File Transfer Manager problem with XP Pro x64
|
|
|
| Hello,
While trying to download some content from MSDN Subscribers section, I can
not. It says that FTM doesn't support 64bit Operating System. I have searched
newsgroups and bug reports but couldn't find any similar problem. My OS is XP
Professional x64. What can I do to download contents from MSDN in this OS?
Thanks for any help.

| Also ask this in the 64 bit newsgroup:
microsoft.public.windows.64bit.general

| I'm pretty sure FTM works on x64 machines, since I use it on my x64
workstation all the time. I might recommend also using the Contact Us form
to report the issue - this will create a trouble ticket with the server team
who should be able to help.

| Maybe he means he's using IE x64. Since the FTM installs an ActiveX
control, I'd assume that the control is only compatible with 32-bit IE.
