Author How to have msdn toc have a fixed width?

The TOC frame at msdn.microsoft.com always resets its width when I visit a
new page on the site. I need to have the TOC have a wider width to show
more text.

Is there a way to get the TOC have a fixed width?

That URL is not a frames site. Can you give the URL you are talking
about? Maybe you mean the MSDN library?

Which browser?

If it's a true frames site (which it should be) the FRAMESET is not
supposed to load on every HTTP GET. The whole point of using frames is
that the navigation and content panes are independent.

If you mean the MSDN library, I've just checked this site and it's very
badly designed (it's not standards compliant cross-browser code) but the
TOC frame does stay at the width you set in IE6 SP1.
